Princess Jasmine..."Your Only In Trouble If You Get Caught"

How are all my lovelies doing?!! Hopefully all of you are doing wonderful!! Well as promised if you follow me on Instagram I assured you guys that I would do
swatches on this beautiful palette and share it with all of you :). Just to let my followers know a little fact about me, I am a huge DISNEY FAN!!! When I say huge.... I mean HUGEEEE!!! Anything Disney I absolutely love and am obsessed with so it only made sense for me to purchase this exquisite piece of eyecandy. When I recieved the email from
Sephora that this was launching as an online exclusive I knew that I had to get my hands on it, not to mention that Princess Jasmine is one of my all-time favorite
princesses to date!! Where to even begin when it comes to this palette?!! Let's talk about the packaging Ladies, Is it not just an absolute Dream!! Here are couple of snapshots of the cover in which the eyeshadows are held in :)

The packaging is so intricate and has so many details and totally fits in with the theme Arabian Nights. The box is so colorful and so vibrant and really it's just simply
brilliant!

Honestly I can just sit and gaze at the packaging for a little bit because the packaging is so gorgeous, totally Disney approved in my book. Now let's
get to the really good stuff...Eyeshadows!!

The pictures of these beauties just simply speak for themselves, they are truely just gorgeous and rich colors. They weren't kidding when it says in the description about how the colors match the movie, meaning they have so much life and brillance to them. Most of the eyeshadows are however shimmers and metallics, there is maybe one or two colors that are actually matte but nevertheless they are GORGEOUS. The blush and
the bronzer are also have some shimmer in them. I personally like my bronzers to be matte but the bronzer in this palette would make a beautiful eyeshadow color it
just all depends on your preference. Here are the Swatches I did on my skin, I apologize in advance for the paleness of my skin color, so sorry dolls.

(Quick Note: The Only reason why you cannot see the Ali Ababwa Swatch in the pictures above is because it is a Vanilla shade and is really light and well naturally it doesn't show up on my skin, sorry dolls but I can assure you that its a beautiful matte color.)

The texture on these are not chalky at all as so many claimed that the Cinderella Storylook Palette was, but I personally couldn't say because this is my first storylook palette that I own. I can tell you though that I have no complaints about the texture, on the contrary I am absolutely in love with all of it!! The pigmentation on this palette is incredible!!! Great color payoff in my book ladies. They are all definitely very very pigmented, on a scale of
1 to 10 I would give this palette a solid 9 only reason being is because I am a matte eyeshadow lover but other than that minor detail I love it!!Here is some more snapshots of the palette :).

Besides for them being so gorgeous, they are bright, fun, and exciting!! I have to say from them being from the Sephora brand, the quality of these are amazing and believe me I'm not just saying that just to say it. The swatches and pictures really do speak for themselves! I most definitely would recommend this beauty to anyone that loves makeup or is an
enthusiast. It is such a precious collecters item, you will not be disappointed loves. It is a little pricey but for a Disney lover there is no price lol. I can't wait to actually play and do some looks with this palette so be on the lookout dolls!! Hopefully this review has been helpful until next time loves. Stay Fancy!

Cheap Makeup Vs. High-End Makeup....Oh the Pressure?!!!

VS

How are my dolls doing?! Hopefully all are doing fabulous! :) Today's Topic.....Makeup :) Let me start off by saying that I'm a proud owner of both high-end and cheap cosmetic brands; and I personally favor both the same. When I first got into makeup I was like many of you watching tutorials on Youtube and felt that if I didn't own high-end products (including makeup tools) that I couldn't simply achieve those looks in the videos. In my case, all I saw were MAC Cosmetics and MAC brushes in those tutorials, so naturally I felt the pressure to own those particular products. At the time, I just simply couldn't afford it and because of that I kinda felt inferior and simply to put it lightly....I felt like a LOSER! <---Not a great feeling.

Over time I started to build my makeup collection and learned that there's nothing wrong with owning "affordable makeup". I will say that I've came across personalities (people) that only favor "high-end" products and even made it perfectly clear that they would never purchase low-end makeup, and to me that saddens me. I don't know about you guys but to me that's the WRONG mentality! Whether you're an aspiring makeup artist or a pro....you shouldn't down others and make them feel inferior just because they can't afford "high-end". I applaud all those pros that keep it real and are honest and use both high-end and cheap makeup and are not afraid to admit it. High-end or Low-end...at the end of the day it's still makeup, the only thing is that the quality is different; Agreed?. If you claim that you're a so called "skilled" makeup artist than you can use any kind of product to your advantage regardless of the price, in my opinion. Over time I've also learned that some products of the cheap makeup brands even out-shine some of the high-end ones and that's the truth my beauties!

The point I'm trying to get at is.....it's not the product that makes you but the SKILL that you have to apply makeup period. So dolls it's okay to work with what you got and be proud of it; there is nothing to be ashamed of. CONFIDENCE is key Ladies and Gentleman. I hope this entry gave you some type of insight on how to look at beauty products differently and in a more positive light :). Let me know what you guys think about this entry and what are your thoughts when it comes to owning high-end or cheap makeup or both. Till next time my lovelies! Have a Fab Day!
